In April, we welcomed in our Água Hotels Mondim de Basto some of the participants of another exciting edition of the Fisgas de Ermelo Trail. The event, known for challenging runners’ limits, brought together trail enthusiasts from several parts of Portugal.

Trail Fisgas de Ermelo, is a trail event that attracts runners of all levels, with three challenging but fascinating routes that cross breath-taking landscapes, including the famous Fisgas de Ermelo, a waterfall with about 200 metres high.

This year, the event did not disappoint, with around 1,500 participants venturing along the trails, facing the natural challenges of the region. The enthusiastic and friendly spirit among the athletes created a unique atmosphere, in which personal fulfilment and team spirit prevailed.
